1. Agreement

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and 1601684 B.C. LTD., the operator of Still. By downloading, accessing, or using Still, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Still. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies and is incorporated into these Terms. If these Terms conflict with mandatory law or Apple’s required terms, the mandatory provision controls.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 to use Still. If the law where you live requires a higher age to agree to online services, you may use Still only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. What Still provides

Still provides quotes, verses, affirmations, images, widgets, reminders, reflection prompts, and related personalization features. Features and content may change, be added, or be removed over time.

Still is for general inspiration and personal reflection. It is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for qualified care. Religious and philosophical content is offered for reflection and may not represent every interpretation or tradition.

4. Subscriptions and purchases

  • Still may offer weekly, monthly, six-month, or annual auto-renewing subscriptions. Still does not offer a free trial.
  • Prices and billing periods are shown in the App Store purchase sheet before you confirm.
  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID. An auto-renewing subscription renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends, subject to Apple’s applicable rules.
  • You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings. Deleting Still does not cancel a subscription.
  • Refunds and billing disputes are handled under Apple’s policies and applicable law.

5. License and acceptable use

Subject to these Terms, Still grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control as permitted by App Store rules.

You must not:

  • copy, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit Still or its content;
  • reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, bypass, or attempt unauthorized access to the service, except where law expressly permits;
  • use automated means to scrape or extract substantial content;
  • remove ownership notices or misrepresent content as your own;
  • use Still to violate law or another person’s rights; or
  • interfere with another person’s use or the service’s security.

6. Content and intellectual property

Still’s app design, software, original writing, artwork, arrangement, branding, and other original materials are owned by 1601684 B.C. LTD. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Some quoted material may be public domain or owned by its respective author or rights holder. Attribution does not imply endorsement.

You may save and share wallpapers through features Still provides for personal, non-commercial use. This permission does not grant the right to sell content, create a competing content library, or remove required attribution.

7. Third-party services

Still relies on services provided by Apple, RevenueCat, Convex, and Cloudflare and may link to external websites. Their own terms and policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Still available but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may update, suspend, limit, or discontinue features for maintenance, security, legal, technical, or business reasons. Where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Still at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these Terms, misuse the service, pose a security risk, or if continued service would violate law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Still is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. Quotes, translations, attributions, and interpretations may contain errors; verify important source material independently. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 1601684 B.C. LTD. and its service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunity, arising from your use of Still. Our total liability for claims relating to Still will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Still during the 12 months before the claim or USD $50. These limits do not apply where prohibited by law or to liability that cannot legally be limited.

12. Governing rules and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules and without limiting mandatory consumer protections available where you live. Before filing a formal claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally. You may bring a claim in any court or forum that applicable consumer law requires.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product or law changes. The updated Terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms, except where law requires another form of consent.
